Dosage Form: Tablets

Therapeutic: Corticosteroids

Composition:

Each Prednacor 20 tablet contains Prednisolone 20 mg.

Indications:

Prednacor is indicated in the following conditions:

– Allergic states including.

– Dermatologic Diseases.

– Edematous States and Endocrine Disorders.

– Gastrointestinal Diseases.

– Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in adults.

– Neoplastic Diseases.

– Acute exacerbations of multiple sclerosis.

– Respiratory Diseases

– Rheumatic Disorders.

– To prevent rejection of organs.

Dosage:

Initially: The initial dosage may vary from 5 mg to 60 mg daily in divided doses, as a single dose in the morning after breakfast, or as a double dose on alternate days. Dosage depends on the disorder being treated. The dose can often be reduced within a few days but may need to be continued for several weeks or months.

Maintenance: 2.5 to 15mg daily, but higher doses may be needed.

Each carton Box Prednacor 20 contains 20 tablets in two blister Strips.
